The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has decided to build a huge cricket stadium at Moshi for which Rs 400 crores will be spent.
As per information, the PCMC’s plan to set up a cricket stadium of global guidelines in the quickly creating suburb of Moshi has picked up speed as the PCMC has selected an expert for the proper planning and execution of the cricket stadium.
The PCMC has made it clear that, though they want to build an international stadium, they’re also thinking about building a full-fledged sports facility as currently there are fewer sports facilities in fast-developing areas like Moshi, Charholi, and Chikhali, as well as in Punawale, Ravet, and Kiwale. Moshi is growing quickly with important places such as an international convention centre, Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital and more. It is turning into a different city altogether. Therefore, the PCMC wants to make certain that it has all the necessary sports facilities.
Though the decision of building a cricket stadium is certain, the PCMC hasn’t decided about it being an international one as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is required to grant permission for an international stadium.
