IIM Calcutta Scholarship
On the basis of students’ performances, the Institute and various organizations fund a selection of prizes/awards to be given to deserving students. On the recommendation of the Institute’s Students’ Council, several awards are presented to students at the Annual Convocation for excellent extracurricular activities.
• IIM Calcutta gives two PGP students the OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarship. This scholarship varies from INR 80000 to INR 150000, depending on the students’ merit.
• T. Thomas Scholarship. HUL offers this award to first-year students based on their academic performance. This scholarship is open to IIM Calcutta PGP second-year students.
• Aditya Birla is a businessman and philanthropist. This group scholarship is awarded to IIM Kolkata based on the academic performance of the students. The scholarship is worth INR 1.75 lakh per annum.
