However, TERRE solely manages and funds this fellowship.
TERRE also is the abbreviation for ‘Technology, Education, Research and Rehabilitation for the Environment. ‘These four tools make-up their ‘environmental kit’ to undertake the work, always respecting the value of their ecosystems. With this toolbox’s help, they strive to reach all strata of society, particularly the young generation and people at the bottom of the pyramid.
Dr Vinita Apte, founder president of the institute, shared that at least 400 applications have received the Centre’s scholarship. Now with the extension, they expect these numbers to increase.
The TERRE Policy Centre will first examine the applications and present them in April. And then, interviews are there to take place with the jury in May. After these steps, they will announce the results in June. The five best students will receive Rs 25,000 and a certificate.
