Pune: At only 15 years of age Pune golfer old Aryaman Singh has become one of the youngest to make it to the final stage of the Q-School for the Professional Men’s Golf Tour of India posting a total score of one over-par in four rounds of play.
Aryaman needed to birdie the last two holes to make it to the final stage of the Q School PGTI. In a nerve-wracking finish ahe sunk the last putt to finish with a birdie at the Golmuri Golf Course in Jamshedpur. He will now proceed to Kolkata for the final stage at the Tollygunge golf course.
The PGTI Q school is one of the most important events of the Professional Golf Tour of India since this is the only way players can qualify to play the circuit for a particular season.
With a total of 395 golfers competing for select spots, this year’s contingent features 309 professional golfers and 86 Amateurs from the Indian contingent as well as from 11 countries which include Australia, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Japan, Sri Lanka, Austria, Nepal, Andorra and Mauritius
