Pune: There is no such thing as impossible in the world, if you set high goals and have ability to digest criticism along with defeat, consistency in performance, you can overcome every crisis in life, said Sanjay Ghodawat, chairman of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group and a well-known entrepreneur during the prize distribution ceremony of “PERA” Premier Championship organized by the Preeminent Education and Research Association (PERA) at MIT University of Art, Design and Technology, Vishwarajbagh, Pune.
At the conclusion of the championship Host MIT ADT University athletes dominated the event with 16 gold and 24 silver medals in the medal tally nt from among more than 3000 athletes from more than 35 universities participating. Following the host were Somaiya Vidyavihar University and Dr. Vishwanath Karad Vishwashanti University got the third position.
Addressing the young sportspersons Snehal Shinde Sakhare, who won the gold medal in kabaddi in the recently concluded Asian Games in Hangzhou, China said that there is no shortcut to hard work and consistency in sports is must. “There are many problems if a girl wants to pursue a career in sports. But from my own experience I will say that a girl should never give up trying to fulfil her dream, because “there may be hundreds of hurdles we need to keep trying always”, she said.
