PMRT 65 and PMLC 53 Begin Construction of Classrooms to Support Education in Rural Pune

Pune: Poona Mid-Town Round Table No. 65 (PMRT 65) and Poona Mid-Town Ladies Circle No. 53 have initiated the construction of four new classrooms at Shri Sambhajirao Palande Patil Pragati High School in Mukhai, Shikrapur, Pune district. The Bhoomi Poojan ceremony marked the beginning of the project, which spans a total area of 3,100 square feet and comes at a cost of ₹40 lakh. Once completed in three months, the initiative is set to benefit 350 students at the school.

Speaking on the occasion, PMRT 65 Chairman Anish Agrawal and PMLC 53 Chairperson Kanika Dharmani emphasized the importance of education in improving quality of life and fostering independence. “Building school classrooms is the flagship program of Round Table India and Ladies Circle India. We firmly believe that good education lays the foundation for a better future,” they stated. Project Convenor Rahul Chabbria and Table Secretary Swapnil Khater were also present at the event.

PMRT 65 and PMLC 53 are volunteer-driven organizations dedicated to community service, fellowship, and goodwill. Their efforts focus on sustainable projects that address pressing community needs, reaffirming their commitment to societal upliftment.
