Pune: In a heartwarming gesture of community support, Poona Mid-Town Round Table No. 65 (PMRT 65) and Poona Mid-Town Ladies Circle No. 53 (PMLC 53) donated playground equipment worth INR 1.5 lakh to Ayodhya Charitable Trust in Wanowrie. This charitable institution is dedicated to providing quality education and training to deaf and mute students with special needs.
The equipment, generously sponsored by Sunny and Resham Oberoi from PMRT 65 & PMLC 53, includes a Family Swing, Single Swings, Merry-Go-Round, Duck Merry-Go-Round, and Sliders, all of which brought overwhelming joy to the students upon installation.
The playground inauguration was attended by Round Table India Area Chairman Anshul Mangal, Area Secretary/Treasurer Rishab Patodia, Table Chairman Anish Agrawal, Circle Chairperson Kanika Dharmani, Secretary Swapnil Khater, and other members of the association. In addition to the playground installation, a free dental check-up for 64 children was organized by 32 Smiles Dental Clinic, extending health support as part of their social initiative.
The day concluded with a Live Meal Counter organized by PMRT 65 and PMLC 53, offering delicious meals to 70 children and staff members at Ayodhya Charitable Trust, which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
PMRT 65 and PMLC 53 are volunteer-led, non-political organizations focused on service, fellowship, and goodwill, driving community development through sustainable initiatives and impactful projects.
