Royal Enfield motorcycles are distinctly identifiable by their classic styling, bare design, the inimitable ‘thump’ of the engine, and most importantly by the camaraderie and the fierce uniqueness of its riding enthusiasts. Redefining this emotion of the riding community, owners of Royal Enfield motorcycles in Pune took to the city roads to celebrate the 72nd Republic Day, and to create awareness about a very important environmental cause – Reduce Usage of Plastic.
Practicing social distancing norms and safety measures, more than 400 Royal Enfield riders rode in different parts of the city to create awareness for minimizing the use of plastic. Going one step further to promote the cause, the riders did not use any plastic water bottles and food for their refreshments, and also did not carry anything made of single-use plastic with them, making the ride completely plastic-free. A group of Royal Enfield riders rode down to Jeevan Vardhini Special Children School, Saswad to give away a generous donation to the children.
Royal Enfield team also felicitated front line warriors including 5 doctors from Pune attending to COVID-19 patients.
