TATA AutoComp, a leading auto-component conglomerate, is proud to announce the inauguration of its manufacturing facility for state-of-the-art cabins for tractors & off-highway equipment’s. These cabins are developed in collaboration with FORTACO (a globally renowned design engineering and manufacturing solutions provider & the leading European strategic partner to the heavy off-highway equipment). The new facility promises to revolutionize the agricultural industry by offering; safe, advanced, and innovative cabin solutions for tractors.
The inauguration ceremony took place on 7th November 2023 at TATA AutoComp’s Composite Division Manufacturing Facility in Chakan, Pune. The event was attended by the representatives from TATA AutoComp, FORTACO and key customers.
TATA AutoComp’s new cabin facility for tractors & off-highway segment incorporates cutting-edge technology and design, providing farmers with comfortable, safe, and ergonomic cabins. FORTACO will provide the design and technology for this advanced cabin facility.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Goel, Chairman, Tata AutoComp said “Tata AutoComp has always been a pioneer in introducing cutting edge technology to its customers. The Off-Highway vehicle market is developing rapidly in India and demand for safety and comfort have started increasing amongst users. With strong design & technology collaboration with Fortaco, this new cabin facility will offer safe, comfortable cabins to the Tractor and Off Highway industry, thereby strengthening our presence in these segments across India & Global Markets”.
Safety cabin manufacturing is made by Tata AutoComp, based on the technology, design, and specifications by FORTACO. This association supports the Tractor & Off-highway OEMs for safe & reliable cabins. Tata AutoComp and FORTACO will deliver the cabins to key Tractor & Off-highway OEMs, which will be fitted on their tractors sold in the domestic and international markets.
